Laurie Lickley is new head of Idaho Cattle Association

Laurie Lickley has been elected to a one-year term as president of the Idaho Cattle Association.

Lickley, who lives on a ranch in Jerome, was elected at the group’s annual meeting Nov. 19. Lickley is a University of Idaho graduate who has worked in various leadership positions for the Idaho Beef Council, Idaho Cattle Association, and the National Cattlemen Beef Association. In 2004, Laurie was selected as the Idaho Cattle Association’s Idaho CattleWoman of the Year.

The Idaho Cattle Association is the official voice and statewide organization for all segments of the beef industry in Idaho, from seedstock breeders to commercial operators to cattle feeders. The association celebrated its centennial year in 2015.
